Payment and Renewal

General Terms

By selecting a product or service, you agree to pay Why Waste the one-time and/or repeating subscription fees indicated (additional payment terms may be included in other communications). Subscription payments will be charged quarterly with invoices for every 3 months. The amount is billed at the beginning of the period, which puts us in the clear for the next three months.

We pride ourselves on not having heavy handed contracts, however this three month turn around will mean that any cancellations before the end date will forfeit the remaining amount. Services can be canceled by you at anytime with the above terms.

Automatic Renewal

Unless you notify us before the end of the applicable subscription period that you want to cancel a subscription, your subscription will automatically renew and you will receive an invoice for the next three month period.

Services

Fees AND Payment

By signing up for the Why Waste Worms subscription you agree to pay the applicable recurring fees. Applicable fees will be invoiced starting from the day your services are established or soon thereafter. Why Waste reserves the right to change the payment terms and fees upon thirty (30) days prior written notice to you.

Support

Your service includes access to phone and email support. "Email support" means the ability to make requests for technical support assistance by phone or email at any time (with reason).

PRODUCTS AND SERVICES

While all products and services are offered with the best of intention, not everyone will receive our offerings in the same way, hence you must make your own assessment of the suitability of the product or the services for your own purposes. You are solely responsible for the actions you take in reliance on the information in, or accessed through this site. Why Waste may change the products and/or services described on the site at any time without prior notice.

PRODUCT AVAILABILITY AND SPECIFICATIONS

All prices listed on this site are displayed and charged in New Zealand dollars inclusive of GST, unless you are GST registered. If products go out of stock, shipping is unreasonable, or are otherwise unavailable after payment has been debited from your account, we will notify you by email and either give you the option to wait until the product comes back into stock if it is going to be restocked, the option of a credit toward another purchase or to cancel the item from your order and refund your account in full for that item.

PAYMENT

Payment through online shop may only be made by direct debit or credit card. These use precautions to keep your information secure and accepts credit and debit cards, including Visa and MasterCard. Why Waste is not liable to you however for any failure of performance, system, connection failure, error in connection with your accessing any third party website or portal and using that third party’s services.

The internet can be an unstable and sometimes insecure, marketplace. Except to the extent otherwise required by law (including, without limitation New Zealand Consumer Guarantees Act 1993), we are not liable to you, or any other person, for any losses caused as a result of unauthorised access to payment related information you provide us when placing an order, except where this is caused by our negligence.

SHIPPING & DELIVERY

Your order will be dispatched within 7 working days of being placed and payment being received. If there are any longer delays due to stock or shipping problems you will be contacted and notified of such.

The freight cost on national deliveries beyond upper North Island will be checked before sending your order and you will be notified of any change in the shipping cost. We reserve the right to change the shipping cost if it has been calculated incorrectly on the website.

We send all New Zealand orders by New Zealand Post or NZ Couriers, including rural delivery. Please note we cannot deliver to PO Boxes, a physical address must be supplied.

PRIVACY & SECURITY

Why Waste collects, retains and updates personal information about you which you provide both:

directly, for example, by you sending us an email enquiring about information about Why Waste products, services or events, or to go on mailing lists; and

indirectly through your use of this site and the services and functionality offered through it.

Why Waste may use this information for purposes connected with:

providing, monitoring and marketing existing and future products and services, to you;

keeping you informed of developments or opportunities in areas or activities you have previously been interested in or we believe you may be interested in.

You can request to be removed from any Why Waste mailing lists by unsubscribing at the bottom of an e-news letter. Your rights of removal may be subject to any additional terms which apply to the relevant list or service.

We will not trade or sell any of the personal information you have provided to any third party without your consent.

Transactions made on Why Waste’s website are protected by the latest security mechanisms and are only used for the purpose of transaction fulfilment. We do not store cardholder information. We use a secure payment solution to process online orders. You’ll be able to see your card being authorised and debited in real time, all in an SSL secure environment. The payment page enables us to offer you a safe and quick online shopping experience.

RETURNS & REPLACEMENTS

Your satisfaction is important to us. If you have a concern about the quality of your product or service please use the Contact page to email us with the product name and the reason you are dissatisfied. Any returns due to quality issues must be within 14 days of receiving your order.

Unfortunately we do not accept product returns if you have changed your mind or don't like the scent.

We may request you to return unused product before processing a refund or replacement. (Please note, if you made your purchase from a retail stockist, you will need to return it to that stockist - and their store policies apply in terms of refund or replacement.).

ORDERING

You can place orders for our products on our website or by emailing us directly. Payment is required before any order will be sent.

RIGHT TO USE SITE AND IP RIGHTS

You may access, view, reproduce and print the content on this site provided you only use that content for informational, non-commercial purposes. If you wish to link to any part of this site, you must get Why Waste’s prior written consent. You may not use this site, or the content on it, for any other purpose or in any other way without Why Waste's prior written consent.

In the event of any dispute regarding the rules, conduct, results and all other matters relating to the promotion, the decision of Why Waste shall be final and no correspondence or discussion shall be entered into.
